Manifesto
There is no shortage of information.
From information, we form opinions.
And over time, opinions can begin to feel like certainty.
This project takes a different approach.
It begins with a question:
How might we create a small space in which people become just a little more curious than certain?
Not persuaded.
Not instructed.
Not corrected.
Simply invited.
Each piece is called an Insight.
Not because it is the truth.
Because it is one way of looking.
Something offered for consideration.
The Insight is mine to offer.
The Reflection is yours to create.
And should you choose to share it,
the conversation continues.
Insights for Your Consideration is neither a lecture, nor spoken-word poetry, nor a concert.
It lives somewhere between them.
Each Insight is a conversation between spoken word, music, saxophone and silence.
Each creates space for the next.
Together, they give form to something no single voice could fully express alone.
We live at a time when it has never been easier to receive information, form an opinion and arrive at an answer.
What can be harder is finding enough space to pause.
To notice.
To reconsider.
To look again from somewhere slightly different.
This project exists to create—and hold—that space.
Not to tell people what to think.
Not necessarily to change their minds.
But to gently stretch perspective.
To let different ways of seeing sit beside one another.
To make room for something else to emerge.
An Insight is not advice.
It is not instruction.
It is not an argument.
It is an offering.
The creator is responsible for its integrity.
What follows cannot be delivered or controlled.
It can only arise within the listener.
That distinction sits at the heart of the project.
Every Insight begins with an intuition.
Through conversation, that intuition gradually finds its form.
The words call the music.
The music continues the thought.
The saxophone gives voice to what the words leave unfinished.
Silence leaves room for the listener.
Nothing stands entirely alone.
Each part becomes itself through its relationship with the others.
And every performance remains incomplete until someone listens.
Perhaps one of these Insights leaves you with one fewer certainty.
Perhaps it offers another point of view.
A quieter breath.
An unexpected smile.
Or perhaps it gives rise to a Reflection that stays with you—
something you continue to consider,
question,
notice,
or quietly dance with.
When that happens, the Insight enters your own experience.
Through your Reflection, it takes on a life I could not have given it.
And should you choose to share it,
the conversation continues.

We tell ourselves
we’re in pursuit of understanding.
Yet often,
we settle for the illusion of certainty.
Certainty about what’s happening.
About what’s going to happen.
Above all,
about who we are.
Along the way,
our beliefs begin to take hold
of our identity.
But what if certainty is familiarity
mistaken for truth?
What if strength
is holding an idea
without letting it hold you?
Now,
imagine expressing one of your deepest convictions.
Clearly.
Articulately.
Unapologetically.
Hold it with all your heart.
Then,
leave just enough room
for a heartbeat of doubt.
Two quiet words
that almost smile back at us.
“…or not.”
A gentle invitation
to leave room
for what else might be true.
Those two little words
make space
for two bigger ones.
Humility.
And courage.
The humility to accept
that you might be wrong.
The courage
to keep exploring
beyond what feels familiar.
After all,
we’ve all been certain about things
that later made less sense
than they once did.
So the next time you find yourself saying,
“This is how the world works.”
Consider
adding two quiet words.
“…or not.”
That’s all it takes
to soften the edges
of your convictions.
So that new meaning
may begin to emerge.

Most people think
a name
comes at the end.
Once
a creation
has taken shape.
Almost
as an afterthought.
Mmmh…
“What shall I call it now?”
As though
the name simply captures
whatever
it became.
I’d like you to consider
the opposite.
When
an intuition
begins
to take shape…
Pause.
Listen.
Until
one name
begins
to feel like
its centre of gravity.
A place
from which
to start
the conversation
and give it
a sense
of direction.
A name
at the end
answers
a question.
“What has this become?”
At the beginning
it asks
another.
“What belongs here?”
It keeps
the conversation
centred.
Everything else
can find
its place
around it.
From there,
an emerging intuition
calls itself
into being.
An Insight
for Your Consideration.
We live
at a time
when the gap
between
possibility
and reality
has never been
easier
to bridge.
And when
every new possibility
invites
another.
It’s never been
easier
to take
a new path.
Or harder
to stay
on course.
Perhaps
that’s why
where we begin
matters
more than ever.
Call
a name
into being.
And witness
what, in turn,
it
calls
into being.
…or not.

Darkness.
When darkness comes,
be still.
Just for a moment.
Breathe.
Let your eyes adjust.
Darkness changes everything
without changing anything.
It asks something different of us.
When sight falls away,
so do many of the choices it offers.
Not because there is less around you,
but because there is less
pulling you away from yourself.
Something deeper
comes into view.
Just like dancing blindfolded.
You don’t have to stop moving.
You move differently.
More quietly.
More intentionally.
When your eyes can no longer lead,
the rest of you
begins to.
Darkness doesn’t change the world.
It changes you.
And that changes
how you meet it.
Perhaps darkness
is not something to overcome.
It is simply
the absence of light.
So rather than fight the darkness,
find your way back
to the light.
And suddenly,
darkness has nowhere to hide.
When darkness comes,
be still.
Just for a moment.
Breathe.
Smile.
Because you can hide everything
in darkness
except light itself.
Let there be light.

it brings.

Think ahead.
Plan carefully.
Anticipate
what may follow.
There are moments
when that is exactly
what life
asks of us.
My cat,
Gigimo,
played Chess.
Patient.
Deliberate.
Always
a few moves ahead.
Then there’s
Norbert.
Norbert
plays Tetris.
When life
brings him
something new,
he doesn’t worry
too much
about what comes next.
He meets it.
He greets it.
He almost
dances with it,
until whatever it is
finds its place.
Content with what is,
and ready for what’s to come.
Chess is elegant.
Tetris is fluid.
Both are valuable ways
of meeting life.
So before asking,
“What’s
my next move?”
perhaps ask,
“What game
am I playing?”

ONE.5
With your feet
firmly planted on the ground,
you look down
at the ball.
Then out
towards where you want it to go.
Then back down
to the ball.
And suddenly,
the distance between them
hits you.
You tighten your grip,
ready to strike.
And yet,
the tighter you hold,
the more force you apply,
the more your swing
loses its flow.
You want your shot
to travel farther.
Not because
you hit it harder,
but because strength
finds its rhythm
and control
learns to let go.
Perhaps
that same insight
echoes
(echoes…)
beyond the golf course.
We put so much effort
into bringing things into being,
pushing,
rushing,
powering through,
that eventually
we search for somewhere
to slow down,
to breathe,
simply to be.
As though being and doing
belonged to different worlds.
Taoist philosophy
brings them together.
Rooted like a tree,
yet dancing like its branches
in the wind.
Planning and playing.
Being and doing.
Different movements
of the same dance.
And when those movements
find harmony,
what emerges
is called WU-WEI.
Acting
without forcing.
Effortless action.
So whether you are
playing golf,
playing music,
or calling a new idea
into being,
breathe.
And swing.
WU-WEI
all the way.
…or not.

Every
word
matters.
Yet
one word
on its own
says very little.
It
awaits
to be met.
One word
invites another.
One note
makes space
for the next.
A question
invites an answer.
An answer
invites the next question.
Why?
Perhaps…
the universe
is
in conversation
with itself.
Word by word.
Note by note.
Insight by Insight.
Creating space
for itself
to grow
just a little more
aware
of what
it is becoming.
That’s why
every word,
every voice,
matters.
Mine.
Yours.
And with that,
my Insight
is complete.
Space.
For your Reflection
to
unfold.
So let
that
be
my last
word.

Doesn’t make much sense,
does it?
Until
you stop counting
and start noticing.
What appeared
to be six separate Insights
was quietly
revealing itself
as one
Conversation.
Certainty
and possibility.
Darkness
and light.
Chess
and Tetris.
Strength
and rhythm.
Conversation
and awareness.
None
stood alone.
Each Insight
invited
a Reflection.
Each Reflection
prepared
the next.
So there is no need
to add anything more.
Only this final,
gentle stretch
of perspective,
to see how it all
comes together.
Now
fully
called
into being.
Its name…
Collection One.
This conversation
began
with
“Start Here.”
And now, the conversation
has come full circle,
reaching, through silence,
its natural… __________
